Septiembre Parade
Each year, during our traditional parade, Broadway Avenue is filled with
sound and pageantry. Local organizations, businesses, schools, bands,
car clubs, and others provide the entertainment as they parade towards
the Civic Center. Whether walking, marching, driving, or pulling a float
all the entrants strive to demonstrate their embracement of the region’s
Hispanic culture. The floats display a montage of important Hispanic
cultural icons and traditions, as well as the diversity that comprises
the Lubbock community.
